Changing school is a big move. Here’s exactly how it works.

How the move works

1 | Before day one

A free placement assessment, subject choice with the Pathway Planner, and a tech check so the first morning just works.

2 | Orientation Week

Live: the platform, digital skills, academic skills, group dynamics, eSafety and responsible AI use. Teachers and classmates, met before lesson one.

3 | The first month

A family check-in call in week one. The Learning Assistant builds the routine. Everything recorded, so a wobbly week costs nothing.

4 | The ongoing safety net

The at-risk dashboard, daily free tutor sessions until caught up, optional 1:1 tutoring, and live parent visibility throughout.

What parents worry about

“Will they lose their friends?”

Old friendships don’t live at the school gate. They live on weekends, on WhatsApp and in shared interests, and they carry on. New ones form here in daily live classes, breakouts, clubs and Social Connect. How friendships form →

“Is it all screen time?”

No. Around 40% of the week is live teaching, and a good deal of the rest, Personal Mastery included, happens away from a screen.

“Will they stay motivated?”

Motivation is built into the structure. Attendance is required, pre-class work is tracked, and a Learning Assistant notices a quiet week before it becomes a quiet month.

“Who notices if they struggle?”

Two people and a dashboard. The subject teacher, the Learning Assistant who tracks progress every day, and a live view you can check yourself.

Moving mid-year?

We’d suggest joining at a natural break, but we’ll never turn away a family that needs to move now. Recordings and catch-up tutoring make a mid-year start workable.
